How often should I service my aircon?
Every 3 months if you use it daily, every 6 months for light use. Regular servicing keeps it cold and cuts your electricity bill.
Servicing or chemical wash: which one do I need?
General servicing is the routine clean. If the unit smells, drips water or blows weak even after servicing, it needs a chemical wash.
What's the difference between a chemical wash and a chemical overhaul?
A chemical wash cleans the coil and blower in place. An overhaul removes the whole fan coil unit and strips it down, for units that are badly choked or haven't been serviced in years.
How much does aircon servicing cost?

How long does it take?
About 20–30 minutes per unit for servicing, 45–60 minutes for a chemical wash. Repairs depend on the fault.
